This blog is a fresh start, built on decades of experience, creativity, and a deep love for beauty, style, and intentional living.

I’ve been a hairstylist for 26 years, and for most of my adult life, I’ve worked at the intersection of beauty, retail, and entrepreneurship. What started behind the chair quickly grew into something much bigger—owning my own hair salon and later a women’s boutique. Those years shaped me in ways I never expected.

Running a salon and boutique meant wearing all the hats. I learned how to curate collections, style spaces, merchandise products, market a brand, manage inventory, build websites, and connect with customers in meaningful ways. I taught myself web design out of necessity, learned how to tell a story through visuals, and discovered how powerful thoughtful presentation can be—whether it’s a great haircut, a styled outfit, or a well-loved home.

In 2020, I closed my retail storefront. Like many others, that season forced me to pause, reassess, and reimagine what I wanted my work and life to look like moving forward. What never changed was my love for creating, curating, and sharing things that make everyday life feel a little more beautiful and intentional.

Along the way, I’ve taken interior design classes and developed a strong appreciation for homes that feel layered, lived-in, and personal. While I don’t have a formal degree or certification, I proudly consider myself a home design enthusiast—someone who believes great design is about how a space makes you feel, not about perfection or trends.

So why this blog?

This space is where all of my experience comes together.

Everything I share is rooted in real life and real experience. I believe in quality over quantity, thoughtful purchases over impulse buys (most of the time) LOL, and creating a lifestyle that feels elevated but attainable. You’ll find curated recommendations, honest reviews, and products I personally use, want, love, or genuinely believe add value.
